Much Ado about Poetry

I just realized how busy a month August truly is! There are many poetry events that I am a part of, not to mention all the poetry events in LA that are just filling the calendar. Poetry is ALIVE in LA! Who says LA is not a mecca for literary genius...if anything, it inspires us from the turbulent realities we face each day. We write write write... So, to anyone that cares, I want to get all the messaging straight. Here's what's filling up my calendar these coming days: Poetrypalooza! I love the name of this event! I love that even get to be a part of it! Along with all the greatness that is Poetrypalooza (poetry taking over LA county), I will be conducting poetry workshops! I'll introduce you to the Humament, expand your Stream of Consciousness methods, and help your children create Acrostic poetry.
