The mind, a dormant stone

Next Thursday, 7/24/14, I get to linger in the back room of Hollywood's famous PIG n WHISTLE , as the Featured Poet!  I am completely honored to join the cast of the Urban Desert Cabaret curated by the phenomenal Joe "City" Garcia! In fact, I will be the sole Poet in the pot -- the Poet holding down the fort! That's me! I am excited. Not only do I get to glam it up in Hollywood lit, but I get to bring my compa ñ ero, the beautiful Flutist, Juan Cardenas! The Urban Desert Cabaret is today's Speak Easy! Who says Poets can't also be Rock Stars? Well, Jim Morrison clearly did it... Bob Dylan... now it's time for Jessica Wilson to rock the boulevard!  I'm going to join Joe "City" Garcia's Urban Desert Cabaret tonight, along with the Belly dancing Poet, Kimberly Cobian, Singer/Songwriter Teddy Quinn and much more! Juan Cardenas, LA's Flutist!, will be joining me on a performance or two as well!  This will be the night we make some magic!  Who is Jessica Wilson?  Founder of the Los Angeles Poet Society, an East LA Poet born, raised in the county of San Bernardino and back again in LA!
