Happy New Year!

This is 2012 ! Welcome to my life :) You know, I wonder...am I the only one that sits and wonders how I am able to exist amongst all these people in the world? What I mean by this, is not misanthropy. What I mean is how am I able to have consciousness and exist and go and move at my own whim. How do I exist? All these other creatures, (people, bugs, trees), exist while I exist. We all are able to operate all at once, simultaneously in multiple directions. How is that possible? It's so much larger than I can begin to conjure. So I don't. I just be. So my New Years' Resolution: Live in the Moment . Some of you might know me. Some of you might think, wow...that is no stretch, you're a voluptuary...You're lacivious, engage in your desires without question... So strange. So what does it mean to live in the moment? It's not just giving into the needs of the moment, but allowing the moment to settle over you, then into you, until you are completely aware of th...

Sweet Reunion

I am overjoyed at the thought of a perfect Writers' reunion! :) I will be at the mountain home of my mentor, and personal writing savior... plus my old writing confidante plus my new and closest writing confidante. :) I hope to share some good memories soon! <3

Made it into Poets & Writers!

While there are many markers along the way for the paths we choose to take in our lifetime, there is one in particular that I finally have passed and I am exceptionally thrilled. Poets & Writers have notably dubbed me "Poet" in their directory of Poets & Writers! http://www.pw.org/content/jessica_wilson Well, "that's just a website", you might say... or "Why do you need them to tell you that you're a Poet?" In my journeys across the land of American poetry, you can say that Poets & Writers is the most widely distributed and read resource for writers. That being said, it is in my eyes an accomplishment to be an addition to  this list of Poets and Writers. My application was submitted some time ago, and at last approved. YAY. :) Thanks, PW!
