This Saturday, I am honored to read with "The Chief", the Co-Founders of100 Thousand Poets for Change (Official) - Michael Rothenberg and Terri Carrion!
They are in town with a new book out by Shabda Press!
The reading will be at Beyond Baroque, 8pm

Shabda Press publisher and editor Teresa Mei Chuc will host a celebration of the publication of MICHAEL ROTHENBERG’s new book of poems, Indefinite Detention: A Dog Story. Guest readers include Terri Carrion, Iris De Anda, Youssef Alaoui, Jessica Wilson, Antonieta Villamil, Juan Cardenas, Mark Lipman and Yvonne De La Vega.

General Admission Policy applies to all events, unless noted otherwise:

Students/Seniors/Children $6
Members FREE.

It's Master Class Time! Ekphrastic Poetry with Jessica M. Wilson

 I am so honored to announce my partnership wtih Avenue 50 Studios, a premiere art gallery in Highland Park, in a historic part of NELA.  Starting April 25, I will be teaching my Ekphrastic Poetry Master Classes! We meet 6:30-8pm, in person at Avenue 50, examining and embodying modern artworks in curent residence at Avenue 50! Not only that, learn more from Art History as we delve into Masterpieces that lend themself to the technicques or inspiraions behind the art. Classes are $20 each.  Minimum of 3 classes will earn you publication by LA Poet Society Press.
